Day 23: Procrastination

The procrastination started last night.  I didn’t set my alarm. Blame it on falling asleep in front of the TV.  The procrastination lasted all day by convincing myself that I can’t take a half hour from my first day back at work.  It ended with a 30 minute walk around my neighborhood in the rain.  Wet?  Check.  Cold?  Check.  Soaked feet?  Check.  A feeling of accomplishment?  Triple Check.  Once again, if I hadn’t made this commitment to myself and decided to publicly blog about it, there is absolutely no way I would have gotten outside tonight (not when there is an open bottle of Pinot Noir and a Trader Joe’s chocolate bar standing at attention).
